Design of the hotel was impressive. The staff were friendly, thank you very much. We enjoyed the room. Good choice of restaurants to eat close by, like Okan Ramen and Soba that was only 10 minutes' walk away.

We have visited the hotel around 6 times over the last 4 years. We find it is a wonderful retreat. We spend our time walking our dog in the grounds or going to beaches within approx. 12 miles and of course eating in their lovely restaurant!

Staff extremely friendly, beautiful setting and nice atmosphere with log fires in reception and diningroom .It has a country house feel rather than hotel , very relaxing .
It could be a plus for some - lack of phone signal but don't think they can do much about it!

Very delightful stay, as always. Wonderful venue, lovely food, amazing location on the Kitley Estate along the local river estuary. Accommodating, incredible staff towards all guests. Sumptuous and super breakfast — plenty of meals. Free parking on-site provided. Late check-out. Location not far from the restaurant and the outskirts of Plymouth.
Wi-Fi was very poor.

The room was really nice, and it felt like it had just been done up. It even had a kettle and a cozy space to hang out. 🛋️ Plus, this place is right by the river, which is pretty amazing. the whole crew working here was super friendly and went out of their way to help.
